August 2007 - Pope Barrow, a Congressional Lawyer who has made several ocean passages with us (Bermuda to the Caribbean & St. Martin to the Azores), joined us with his friend, Amber Jones. For two glorious weeks we sailed from Trogir, Croatia to Naples, Italy, by way of the Messina Straits.
We had many wonderful adventures, including climbing a smoldering volcano. Amber, who had never made a long sailing passage, liked it so much she volunteered to take her own night watches.
