CROSSING THE ATLANTIC
FROM THE CARIBBEAN TO EUROPE

Atlantic Ocean:   May/June 2006 - Our friend, Pope Barrow, joined us for the crossing.  He manages 40 lawyers in Washington, DC who write bills for our Congressmen.  His colorful, behind-the-scenes stories of political balderdash kept us highly entertained.  He also sent colorful emails building on everyday events, and making our crossing highly heroic and frought with danger.  We sailed 18 days from St. Martin to the Azores.  Pope returned to Washington, and we explored the beautiful Portuguese Islands for two weeks.   Cousin Sally Adamson Taylor and Alan Frazier then joined us for our 6 day passage to the Mediterranean.
